Tongue in cheek Vineyard Vines is on target lines with Hook and Slice designs, at first possibly mistaken as a fishing theme with hook and slice of lime, then we golfers get it. Other ties inspired by the game are Golf, Golf Clubs, Barefeet Golf where the greens are shaped like feet.
Vineyard Vines, started by two brothers on Martha’s Vineyard, is inspired by the sea lifestyle and hanging out at the beach. Fellow New Englander Tim, the Director of Golf Sales, told us about the new line of golf and lifestyle from the relaxed, preppy brand now based out of Stamford, Connecticut.
A lot of bright colors this season everything is classy but comfortable and easy to wear. Vineyard Vines started off as a tie company because the owners said they wanted to make ties so they didn’t have to wear them. All their ties are beautiful imported printed silk then handmade in the USA. They design custom ties and belts for clubs all over the country some big events in New England they’ve done are the Deutsche Bank Tournament and the Traveler’s Championship.
Some people swear by cotton, they just do not like the feeling of polyester on their skin. Vineyard Vines offers 100% cotton polos to pair with 100% cotton khaki shorts or pants. Long sleeve cotton polos are great as the weather warms up for Spring.
Stay like Vineyard on target lines and don’t hook and slice on the fairways and in fashion! Vineyard Vines is available in 600 green grass shops across the country, 100 of them in New England, or on www.vineyardvines.com. For golf and ski resorts in the Northeast there even is a tie print of a skier and snowboarder on a chair lift available for this time of year.
