Megan Khang came back strong Friday posting a third round -4/69 jumping 6 spots up the leaderboard.
An opening round -3/69 Wednesday was followed by a rather ho hum even par 72 second round Thursday dropping the Rockland native into 12th position going into Friday’s third round.
With her father Lee on the bag, Megan was T-6th after her stellar play Friday. Khang finds herself five shots out of the lead as she heads into the weekend and the final 36 holes of the 90 hole marathon.
The LPGA’s Stage III Q-School final is being played over the Champions Course at LPGA International in Daytona Florida. The top finishers, (approximately 50 players), will receive full status on the LPGA Tour for 2016.
